Victoria Louise Smith's Obituary
Victoria Louise Smith, “Toria”, age 66, of Berkley, formerly of Marine City, peacefully went home to join Jesus and her beloved mother, whom she missed dearly, on March 20, 2018. Victoria is finally at peace after struggling with illness her whole life. She had a great love of fairies and they now join her on her new journey. She was born December 14, 1951 to the late Louis and Elizabeth Heilman. Victoria was a case manager for HIV patients at the VNA.
She is survived by her children, Heather Heilman, Elizabeth Smith and Peter Smith; grandchildren, Aidan Heilman, Maria Heilman and Julien Heilman; siblings, Bernadette Wilkens, Karl Heilman, Jeanette Williams, David Heilman, Josette Barney, Daniel (Donna) Heilman, Yvette Slease, Colette Danhausen and Lisette Heilman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Annette Heilman.
Funeral mass will be Friday March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at OLR Parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Visiting hours are Thursday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recital at 7:30 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Additional visitation Friday at church from 10 to 11 a.m.
