Rest in peace Vicky, you've earned it. I have lots of memories about Vicky, we spent many hours exploring the World. Here are just a few. She was the first girl I ever kissed. She was so excited to tell me about the big carp she caught in Belle River. She was also excited to tell me about the ghost she saw exiting the back door of the little brown house we lived in across the street from the Catholic cemetery. She was always happy to see me when I went to her various homes she lived in before I left Southeastern Michigan. She allowed me to move into her mobile home she shared with Joanne in New Haven, MI after I got out of jail. We almost died together in her old Chevy Impala driving home to New Haven late one night. A semi-truck with flat-bed trailer had parked across the highway with its lights off. I slammed on the brakes and we ended up inches from the trailer sitting parallel to the trailer. I later wrecked that car and gave her my Ford Fairlane when I left Southeastern Michigan. She was so happy to have another car. Vicky lived a hard but happy life. She loved her children and they were always number one to her. Her many injuries and illnesses took a heavy toll on her body. Like I said Vicky, rest in peace, you’ve earned it.
With Love,
You Brother by Blood and by Trial,
David
