Mr. Timothy J. Westrick's Obituary
To our family and friends,
On Sunday November 10th, 2013 after 54 beautiful years of life, the world’s most loving and compassionate soul, Timothy J. Westrick, has joined his family in his new home of God. His strong sense of family and faith instilled by his parents was reflected in how he raised his two children, Timothy W. Westrick and Christine Achatz (Westrick) and shared his life with his caring wife Lori Westrick of 33 years. As a husband and father, he showed us his love of life and strong moral values through his actions, words, and deeds. He had the highest ideals of work ethic and yet was patient with those he worked with at home and at F & M Contractors while embracing them as his family too. He enjoyed teaching others his mechanical skills and was able to repair anything placed in front of him. Through his own sense of humor, he made others’ lives more enjoyable. As a farmer at heart, he loved working the land and being outdoors. Some of his fondest memories were spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, working the farm with his father, camping and hunting with his family (what happens at deer camp stays at deer camp). Those of us left behind will greatly miss his kind and serene nature but will rejoice in his rebirth to God’s arms. Heart to heart, we will love him forever and never forget. We share his instructions to us before his passing with all of you - “Just close your eyes and talk to me, I’ll be there for you.” ~ Timothy J. Westrick
Rosary service will be conducted Saturday November 16th at 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Saturday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. To leave the family a message of comfort please visit www.youngcolonial.com
