Roger H. Parmentier, age 79, of Casco Twp., passed away March 17th. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years Elaine. Sons; Gary (Donna), Robert and Richard, and daughter; Gail (Robert). He is also survived by grandchildren; K Read Obituary
Roger was a very good role model for me as a teenager at Cooley High. Our SCHS class of 1985 invited him to our 25th reunion last summer. It was so wonderful to see him again. Mr. Parmentier and his wife Elaine had such a good time catching up with all the students. They both thanked our class for the invitation and told us what a wonderful time they had. We were so happy they could attend! I AM SURE YOU WON'T REMEMBER ME BUT YOY SAT NEXT TO ME AT THE TABLE ON JULY 7,2009 AT THE LAST HURRAH. I PLAYED FOOT BALL FOR TOM BOISTURE, 1960 AND1961, COACH PARMENTIER OFFERED ME A SCHOLARSHIP TO DENBY BUT I STAYED AT ST. ABBROSE. I DO REMEMBER COACH PERMENTIER AS BEING BESIDES A GREAT COACH A GREAT GUY, AND I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. GOD BLESS HIM AND YOUR FAMILY.
