Robert "Sid" Brown's Obituary
Robert “Sid” Brown II, age 85, of East China, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born on March 16, 1938, in Highland Park, MI.
Sid was well-known for his multiple business endeavors. His adventurous nature led him to enjoy many hobbies throughout the years, like sailing, car clubs, and horse racing and breeding.
He is survived by his wife, Esther and daughters, Julie (Russ) Witherspoon and Mollie (Brian) Beaver; seven grandchildren, Briana (Danny) Jacob, Robert Brown IV, Thomas (Allycia) Witherspoon, Kyle (Laura) Beaver, Chelsea (Isaac) Gilpin, Ally (Danny) Walkowski, and Dana Witherspoon; and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Sidney Brown III and daughter-in law, Vicki Brown.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China twp. Visiting memorial hours will be prior to service from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 11th.
