I was saddened to hear of Sid's passing. I was a neighbor to both him and Esther in Norwood Michigan, and can only say that it was an immense privilege to have known both of them. His keen wit and wry sense of humor were amazing to observe. To me, both he and Esther epitomized the meaning of both class and elegance. A gifted storyteller, we would enjoy conversations on our porch on numerous occasions. He will truly be missed. Condolences to Esther and the family and hope for God's comfort in the future.
Our condolences to Esther and the Brown family. We met Sid, Esther, and "Ivy" when they moved to SC and we thoroughly enjoyed their friendship and hospitality. We also visited their home in Michigan where Sid took us on a boat ride on the St.Clair River. His machine shop in SC was second to none. He was an amazing individual. God bless Sid and bring peace to his family. Jim & Phyllis Loftis, Aiken, SC
May God wrap you in his love and give you comfort during your sorrow.

A wonderful man who was full of life. It was my great pleasure to enjoy some business adventures with him, and Lord knows he truly loved the game. I will always remember his wry grin and chuckling laugh. I know there is a place for dealmakers in heaven, and I will look forward to seeing him there. With cheerful memories, my condolences to Julie, Esther, and the family. Steve Powers
