Richard "Rick" Alan Hija, 76, of Marysville MI, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 after a courageous five year battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by loving family in his final moments. Born on February 15, 1949, in Read Obituary
So sad to hear of Rick's passing. So many great memories of Rick from softball, football and U of M / Ohio State game parties. He was always smiling and the life of the party. Prayers and condolences to the family, Rick was a one of a kind. He will be missed, RIP Rick.

Starting way back in the 60’s (from the Marysville class of 1967), Rick could always be seen smiling, talking with everyone and was an extremely good athletic. After graduation, Rick and Bev were active in class reunions. He was very passionate about his classmates and they meant so much to him. He would share stories about those days at our meetings. He will be greatly missed. RIP Mr. Rick.
