Norman Joseph Becker's Obituary
Norman Joseph Becker took his last breath on May 31, 2025, as the wind and bird chirps filled the room. He was in complete comfort and peace, surrounded by his family. Norm was 74 years old, of East China, formerly of Eastpointe. He was born on December 23, 1950, to the late Francis and Emily Becker. Norm was a graduate of Nativity High School, class of 1969. Following high school he earned his associates degree from Macomb Community College. Norm went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in engineering. A place where he worked diligently for over 30 years. He went on to work for Marquardt Switches for about 10 years until his retirement. Through hard work, traveling all over the world, and dedication, Norm was very proud to earn several patents and accomplishments in his tenure. When he was not working, he would be found outside. As an avid outdoorsman, Norm enjoyed gardening, golfing with his brother, Rich, as well as going fishing with his family at the cottage on Lake Ogemaw. Norm was an avid Detroit sports fan, who was well invested in supporting his home teams. Above all, Norm cherished the time he spent with his family.
