Dear Dad,
I cannot believe you are gone, and I will never be able to hear your “hello daughter” again. Although I want you here with us I know you are free of pain, and your brilliant mind is restored. Thank you for being the best Dad, and always making me feel so special. You always supported me not matter what and were there when I needed you the most. As a little girl I loved dancing on your feet and running and jumping into your arms. 46 years is not long enough, because I don’t know how I will go on without you. I knew you were great but hearing everyone talk about how much they loved you makes me so happy. You touched so many lives with your kindness, love, vast knowledge, and your welcoming smile. You taught me so many things and I loved hearing all your stories and listening to you tell them to me over and over. I loved the way you made everyone feel welcome and how you loved your family. Your grandchildren were lucky to have the best Bacca around. I know you didn’t like Bacca at first but you learned to love it because you loved your grandchildren. So Dad until we meet again save a dance for me!
Love
Amanda
