Nelson "Jack" DeLisle's Obituary
Nelson J. “Jack” DeLisle, age 85, of St. Clair, died in his sleep with his wife at his side on November 1, 2015. He was born March 20, 1930 in Marine City to the late Nelson W. and Gernetta (Thomas) DeLisle.
Jack worked at Diamond Crystal Salt Co. for 19 years then was employed with Ford Motor Co. for 25 years retiring in 1992. Jack enjoyed many years of building and flying radio controlled planes.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Nancy DeLisle, three children; Julie Buel, Susan (Gary) Platzer and Jess (Kathy) DeLisle, sister, Jean Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Honoring Jack’s wishes cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment at Hillside Cemetery Columbarium, St. Clair. Memorials may be made to Reverence Hospice. To leave a message of comfort please visit www.youngcolonial.com. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
