Nathan Woodman's Obituary
Nathan Paul Woodman, age 59, of St. Clair, died February 5, 2011. He was born December 1, 1951 in Bridgeport, Alabama, to the late Bernard and Mary Carol Woodman. On June 24, 1977 Nathan married Mary Ann Schneider in St. Clair. Nate was a 35 year member of Boilermakers Local 169 and a member of Masonic Lodge Evergreen No. 9. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also loved welding, photography, and cutting wood.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Mary Ann Woodman, children; Melissa Ann, Theodore, Eric, Michael, and Christina Woodman, brother; Michael (Sharon) Woodman, Sisters in law and brothers in law; Martha Woodman, Leo Schneider, Jim and Diane Schneider, and Bill and Tammy Schneider, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Johnathon Woodman and brother John Woodman.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at Young Funeral Home and 10:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 6:00 to 9:00 and Tuesday 2:00 to 9:00. A Masonic service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Childrens Hospital or the wishes of the family.
