Mary Lou Stockwell, age 72 of Marine City, was born in Mt Clemens to Edmund and Norene Durow on December 30, 1950. She died peacefully with her husband of 52 years (the light of her life, and caretaker) and children by her side on Read Obituary
Mary Lou was really good at sewing and loved to play cards . Many a time she would sew clothing for me when something didn’t fit . I enjoyed playing cards with her and she knew just about every card game there was and was good at all of them. She will always be missed.

I want to express my sincere condolences to DP and his family. It is hard to lose the love of your life and your mom although in some regard, with dementia you probably felt as if you lost her a while back. I will pray for all of you as my heart send you love and support.
I met MaryLou through the friendship of our daughters.
MaryLou was always such a positive, caring and loving person. She was so proud of her family.
