Mary Lynn Sears' Obituary
Mary Lynn Sears, age 73, of St. Clair, passed away February 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23, 1952 in Detroit to the late Michael and Catherine Power.
She married Rick Sears on January 21, 1972. Together they raised their three children Erin, Ethan and Evan Sears and watched their family grow with a son and daughter in-law and three wonderful grandchildren.
Mary graduated from Holy Cross High School in Marine City and went on to earn her Associate Degree and work as a Radiologic Technician for 39 years.
She was an avid photographer, gardener, jam maker, sailor, beachcomber, and artist.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years; Rick Sears, her children; Erin (Mike Adamson) Sears, Ethan Sears, and Evan (Grace Moran) Sears.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Harvey and Myra Sears, and Atticus Adamson, her sister; Gail Ronan, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters; Patricia Oatman, Beverly Glass, Kathleen Power and her brother; Jack Lansky.
Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment and graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair.
