I know Mary through my husband who is a friend of Ricks. I have been blessed to spend time with Mary and Rick. In my time with Mary, it was clear to me she loved creation. She loved the outdoors and sought every opportunity to immerse herself in it. It included butterflies and turtles as well as immersing herself in the St Clair River! She was a cook and an amazing hostess. She loved art, photography ( which of course included nature) and preserving family history. She was a Macrame artist and even taught me how to make a macrame bracelet ( no SMALL task). She loved literature (shared with me “The Hail Mary Project” book, to come out as a movie in March) and language. She immersed herself in learning Spanish. And of course beyond all else, she loved her family. She took every opportunity to share them with others and make it known how proud she was of them. Mary was also able to make all of those she encountered feel like family. She has made the world a better place! Thank you Mary!
