Mary Terese Hart's Obituary
Mary Terese Hart, age 76, of East China, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 13, 1945 in Malone, New York to the late Erwin and Lorraine Piechowiak. She married Dennis Hart on January 29, 1966 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2015. Mary worked at U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Command as a manager in Warren, Michigan and retired in 2004 after 28 years with the company.
Mary enjoyed sewing, gardening, she was also a great cook. She looked forward to the winter months at their house in Port Charlotte, FL. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends from Florida and Michigan and all of her family back home.
She is survived by her children, Doug Hart, Jennifer (Joel) Dakers; grandchildren, Dylan Thomas, Ryan Hart, Jake Hart, Nik Dakers, Alayna Dakers; sisters, Ann (Fred) Schmidt, Sue Neirynk, Jane (Bruce) Taylor, Ruth (Rick) Ayers, Chris (Darren) Baker, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the St. Clair Golf Club located at 1714 North River Road, St. Clair. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair County Humane Society or Kids in Distress. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
