Marion Jane McKellar (age 97) passed peacefully on November 28, 2024. She was born on May 6,1927 to A. Norman and Louise Tesch in Fair Haven, Michigan. She married Gerald McKellar on May 1, 1948 until his passing in 2009. Together Read Obituary

Marion was one of a kind, a loving, kind, strong woman. She was always ready to lend a hand. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. I appreciated Marion more than you know. Christmas morning breakfast which Marion hosted for many years in the past, will never be the same without her. Heaven gained a very special angel, Rest In Peace Dear Marion.
Mrs. McKellar was my Girl Scout Leader when I was young. I was in the same troop as her daughter, Jerri Lynn. I loved being a scout and she was part of the joy. After reading her obituary, I see that she is a very accomplished woman. I feel honored to say that knew her. May God bless her family with comfort and receive her soul to everlasting happiness. I feel very fortunate that for a period of time I was related to Marion, being married to her granddaughter Holly. Marion was always a wise an great person. She said what she thought an what was rite to do. She'll be missed dearly by me an by so many. She's got a great welcoming crew awaiting her up there! Rest in peace Marion.
Marion was a gem. Always a wonderful neighbor. When I returned to Marine City to care for my Mom, Marion was just wonderful to me and we became dear friends. I loved our little side yard chat's. She was an honest and good woman. Rest now dear friend. You've earned it. I am grateful forever for you and your loving support.
