I'm so sorry and sad to hear this! My last uncle. I loved to hear him sing especially I went to Toledo. Sending all my love to my cousins.
My Dad, Ralph Pfingst, was teacher, coach and finally Superintendent of Marine City High School from 1937 to 1956. As Coach, he was always very close with his teams - having them over for different activities. I remember Louie and his sport buddies very well. He was always very friendly to me (a little kid) and I remember Daddy talking about him often. I pray God gives Louie's family a peace which passes all understanding as he begins the rest of his life in Heaven.

I remember Louie as being our mailman. Heck, I think all of Marine City remembers Louie. Such a nice man. Rest is peace.
