Mr. Lester "Bud" Pfent's Obituary
Lester "Bud" Pfent, age 71, of East China Twp., died February 26, 2014. He was born October 6, 1942 in Detroit to the late Lester Sr. and Emelyne Pfent. Bud served in the U.S. Army. He married Frances Gowsoski on September 12, 1964 in Detroit. He is survived by his wife, Fran Pfent, children, Sean (Windy) Pfent, Shannon (Casey) O'Loughlin, grandchildren, Travis, Pierce, Kess, Jimmy, Connor and Rose, nieces and nephews, Craig, D'Ann, Jeff, Kurt, Melissa and Steve, Brothers in law and sister in law, Stephen and Diane Gowsoski and Don Ziolkowski. He was predeceased by a brother and sister in law, Bob and Germaine Pfent and sister, Barb Ziolkowski. A funeral mass is scheduled Monday March 3rd at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Monday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to mass. Memorials may be made to the Capuchins.
