Bud will be truly missed by the Selfridge ANG Base family. His mark is on many projects throughout the base. He was a quality guy with an excellent and professional attitude. He was a big contributor to the Fire Department Annual Golf outing for "Wigs 4 Kids" because he cared and loved life, friends and family. I too always felt welcomed into his office to talk about plans, our weight loss successes, trips and updates of our families. How great is that? There are many good men, but Bud was a Great Guy. He is missed already. Our prayers and deepest sympathy to the family.

We were so sorry to hear Bud has passed away. He was an ever present islander who will be missed very much by every one who knew him. Even though we did not know him well, we know how much he did to help take care of the island and to help other cottage owners. June and I were sorry to hear of "Buds" passing.I enjoyed carving the pig with him for a number of years, it was always an adventure. His hard work on the roads which he did not use made life much better for the West Side residents.Stag Island will be a diminished place without him. June and Ed Goodwin

Fran, Sean and Shannon, my deepest sympathy and condolence for your loss. I am honored to say I've worked for the best boss any one could ever ask to work for. His door was always open to talk fishing stories, vacations, family celebrations, boating and yes work, which always came first. He enjoyed telling me about Kess getting her 1st deer with a cross bow as much as me telling him about my brother landing a 3' catfish. Work hard, play hard, take care of your family were things he believed in. He was a man who enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by all those who new him. Rest in peace "Bud". You will always be remembered.
