LeRoy R. Mollan Sr.'s Obituary
LeRoy Richard Mollan, Sr., age 88, of Kimball Twp., formerly of St. Clair, passed away peacefully June 22, 2023. He was born in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Howard "Pat" Mollan and Ethel "Esther" (King) Mollan on June 14, 1935. Predeceased by his first wife; Emma (Thornton) Mollan in 1976 and wife; Norma
"Jean" (Ingles) Mollan in 2022.
He is survived by his son; LeRoy (Diane), daughters; Patricia Montorosso and Cindy Sullivan. LeRoy is survived by his 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Jean's children; Bonnie (Steve) Krasnuik, John (Sharron) Zimmer, Connie (Rick) Duchane, Yvonne (Jay) Lynch, Donald (Donna) Zimmer, and Gerald Mark (Tina) Zimmer. LeRoy is also survived by Jean's grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his sister; Agnes McFarlane, brother in-law; Carl Sullivan and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sons in- law; Dave Montorosso and Jack Sullivan, sister; Zelma Sullivan and brother in-law; Jack McFarlane.
LeRoy retired from Detroit Edison after 42 years of service. He was a past member of Evergreen Lodge #9 Fraternal Order of Masons and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed many winters in Zephryhills, Florida with Jean, golfing and tinkering in his garage.
Cremation arrangements are with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice Home 2795 Edison Dr., Marysville, MI 48040.
