Leo Joseph Duhaime's Obituary
Leo Joseph Duhaime, age 87, of Algonac passed away peacefully at home Sunday, August 28th after a long battle with cancer. Leo was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Detroit. He served during the Korean Conflict as a member of the Army 82nd Airborne. After military service, Leo worked for General Motors for 39 years. He served as a body recovery diver and patrol officer for the Washtenaw County Sherriff Department. He also was a Scuba Diver instructor. Leo loved to hunt and fly-fish. He was a long time member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette of 33 years.
Children, Michael Duhaime and Ann (Adrian) Galletly.
Grandchildren, Dr. Jami Jackson (Ben Schraeder), Jennifer (Steve) Langan, Heather Galletly, and Christel Galletly
Great grandson, Simon Schraeder
Predeceased by his parents Josephat and Florence Duhaime, first wife Joann Duhaime, and daughter- in- law Jody Duhaime.
