I have a vivid memory of a business Christmas party that Mr. Duhaime and his precious wife had in their home when I was a child. (I am the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carr) He used to play games with all of the kids. It was always a good time.

My favorite memory is when he took us out back to pick a Christmas tree to bring inside. It was snowing outside and beautiful.

I also remember a time when my dad helped store his boat in our garage for a short time. My brother and I were always curious and would get in trouble from time to time sneaking in to play. We loved his boat! He took us out on it one time if I remember correctly.

He would never say "Helicopter" he would say "Hecticopter." I still jokingly say that to this day with my own kids. I have so many wonderful memories of him. Mr. Duhaime will be missed and will forever be in my childhood memories. Rest In Peace, Mr. Duhaime.

Dear Paulette, We received the card today in the mail and were deeply saddened, what a fine man Lee was. Paul shares with me stories now and then of working with him in the lab. So many stories of GM and what a great leader Lee was. I remember him coming to the house to check on his boat we were storing for him. It was really hard to keep Lindsey and Joe off of it while it was there. I remember so many things that we could talk for hours. You and Lee were the folks who showed us what great dogs Jack Russells were, we have owned them ever since. Even as I write this, I smile as there really is no one like Lee Duhaime, we missed you all when you moved to Algonac, but the area you moved to, how could anyone resist that! Paul is planning on coming October 15th, I will join him if we can find someone to watch the two ponies and Wishy our JR. We send our love, prayers and deepest condolences to you and the family. My deepest sympathy, I'm sorry about your father and grandfather's passing. Your family will be in my prayers and thoughts! After reading the obituary, my heart is broken... Mike, Linda and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Your Dad was instrumental early in my career as I was learning how to get things done in a lab environment and trying to learn how automatic transmissions were tested. He was eager to teach any of the young people who were wanting to learn. I had a tremendous amount of respect for him. Until reading his obituary I was unaware that he was also a CC grad, as am I CC '74. Our very best regards Mike.

Fifty-one years ago I took a scuba diving class from Leo, got certified and I have been diving ever since. He opened up a whole new world underwater for me.

I have not seen him since then, but remembered him to this day.

I hope he understood how many lives he had a positive impact on. God bless him
