Joyce and Carrie, i am sorry for your loss, how i remember all thise family reunions at Aunt Glenda's. Also this family loved their Euchre games, i remember quite a few at Grandma Teltow's.may the Lord guide you thru this difficult time and give you peace.
I have many memories of Ken. The family reunions we had when I was a child, the help he gave my father when he was installing a new heating system in our home, the help he gave when a new heating system was being installed in my Grandmothers home. I honestly remember that Ken was there to help in every family project. When my Grandpa Teltow passed away, I remember that Ken was with my Dad and Uncle Warren changing a back tire on Grandpa's Ford tractor. All three of them had just returned from the funeral and still in their suits. Ken was there getting down and dirty. Ken didn't care, it was family that needed help, and he got into it.
Now, with all that being said, Ken Springborn was a serious Euchre and Pinochle player at our family reunions. With his hands full of cards and a cigar in him mouth, he was there to play. Didn't matter who won, everyone laughed the entire time of the games.
Those were wonderful times.
A wonderful man. Thank you Ken for serving our Country.
Tim Teltow
