I had Joy on my mind randomly today, and I am heartbroken to learn of her passing.
Joy helped me buy my first home back in 2007, and she was so much more than an agent. She took on a motherly role for me, ensuring I wasn't taken advantage of and teaching me everything I needed to know. Amidst the stress of a first-time purchase, she somehow made the process fun. She always had a smile on her face and endless patience for my million questions.
To this day, I can’t drive by my old home or her old office without smiling. She was a true bright spot, and I’m so thankful to have had her in my corner. I believe God places people in our lives exactly when we need them, and He knew I needed a "Joy" in mine.
Sending my deepest prayers to her family and to everyone who loved her. She was one of a kind.
