I too have many fond memories of Uncle Jack..........a laugh and a smile, constantly!!
He and my mom were very close, and as a result I always felt Uncle Jack was "looking out for me".......
We had some great times together.........many times one summer I drove him back and forth from work......more recently, I was his "helper" (his term, not mine!!) as he and I installed windows in my home......working side by side, talking and laughing as we did so.....
Another memory is of his love for his car or his truck......"she's running great" he would say!!! "And how about your bucket of bolts?" he would ask......
How impressed I was when unannounced I stopped by his home in Harrison a few years ago.......he greeted me with great enthusiasm even though we had not seen each other for a few years..........."Todd, what the heck are you doing here!!" he said......sure made me feel good.......Uncle Jack had a way of doing that......"Your mom would be proud of you Todd" he said. He would know....powerful words.
Always willing to help........
Dedicated to his family.......so proud to have Shelly host the family reunion at her home....
A simple guy: Work hard, do the best you can.
Nothing wrong with that......in fact, we need more of that today!!!
You have my respect and my love Uncle Jack.....you always did, you always will.
Todd
