Mr. John Bailey Biewer's Obituary
John Bailey Biewer passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2014.
He was born Oct. 30, 1955, in St. Clair, Michigan to John (Jack) and Marilyn ( Bailey ) Biewer.
John worked at John A. Biewer Sporting Goods until his retirement.
John lived in Indian River, Michigan and had been active in his community. He was a member of Kiwanis and past president. John was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a devoted member of the Cross in the Woods Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
John is survived by a brother, Steve ( Linda) Biewer of Ottawa, Illinois, four nieces and nephews; Seth Biewer of Portland,Oregon, Leah ( Blaine) Roberts of Colona Illinois, Jenna Biewer of Tulsa Oklahoma, Jace Biewer of Ottawa, Illinois, and a large and loving extended family and many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Biewer.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 8pm, with a rosary at 7pm, at Young Funeral Home, 4061 St. Clair Hwy. East China Twp., Michigan, on Monday, Nov. 24th. Funeral mass will be at 11 am Tues., Nov 25th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair, with the Father Michael Zuelch officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Clair. Memorials are suggested to Kiwanis International or Cross in the Woods Catholic Church, Indian River. www.youngcolonial.com
