I have known John for 25 plus years and he was always so friendly and caring! I own M&M Plumbing in Indian River and we have served his plumbing and heating needs for many years. The most memorable thing for me was John would always wave at me as we passed on the road even if I was driving a new or different vehicle somehow he would know. I never saw him raise his hand to wave for I think he had it up well before I saw him. He gave freely of his time and he will be greatly missed in our community.

We were so sad to hear about John's passing. He was a great neighbor, always a smile and a Hello. He loved to eat at Hoppies and take a bath in the lake in the summer time. He will be missed at Burt Lake. Our condolences to all the family and friends he left behind. Mike and Sue Quinn
