I remember Joan well from high school. I'm sad to say I did not stay in touch with her, but I'm very glad to hear she lived life to the fullest, and embraced every day! Truth be told, none of us know how long we have, so she has set a shining example for us all. My thoughts and prayers are with Joan's family, but rest assured we will all be united in the future. "We are not human being on a spiritual journey, but rather we are spiritual beings on a human journey."

Dear John, Jenna and Madison, I am so very sorry for the loss of your vibrant and wonderful mother and wife. Anyone who knew Joan was blessed by her smile, her love for her family, her total dedication to her girls and her zest for life. May you find comfort in knowing that your mother no longer suffers in this life, is now watching out for you in heaven and is safe in the comfort of the arms of Jesus. My prayers are with all of you.
Joan was not just a co-worker she was a friend. I will miss Joan tramensly, her smiles, her stories about Lill, her baking , her strength and her friendship. My heart is heavy. May she rest in peace,

What a "class act." I have many fond memories of Joan from my days teaching at the Tennis House. Joan and I practiced often. Joan came up with this rule when we played sets that I was not allowed to come to the net. She had a great sense of humor and was often the brunt of my practical jokes. Sadly our paths never crossed since I left town. My thoughts and prayers are with the McTevia/Ropposch families. Thank you Joan for the many great memories!
