Joan Anne (LaCroix) Liniarski's Obituary
Joan Anne (LaCroix) Liniarski from St. Clair, Michigan, at age 80 passed to her new life on May 2nd, 2024 surrounded by family and in the arms of her loving husband of 62 years. She was born on Sept. 5th 1943 in St. Clair, Michigan to Burton & Lucille LaCroix.
Joan married her childhood sweetheart, Stanley Liniarski. They met in the 4th grade and were inseparable from their first date in 8th grade. They were married on Oct. 14th 1961. She has been lovingly known as Princess Joan ever since.
Joan’s hobbies were ceramics, crocheting, scrapbooking, and playing the piano. Like her mother, Joan loved music and dancing. Her passions were Faith, Family, and being a Prayer Warrior. She lived her whole life by her Faith and was always in prayer over others. It is no surprise that she passed on “National Prayer Day”. She was a devoted motherly figure not only to her children but the many friends of theirs that inhabited the household on a regular basis. Joan loved to travel with her husband. Some of her favorite places were Vermont, Amish Country, & Frankenmuth. In her younger years, Joan was a singer and organist in her church. She also enjoyed singing in her husband’s dance and wedding band, The After Beats, along with her 2 oldest children.
Stanley would like to thank Catherine from McLaren Hospice for her tender loving care of his Princess in her final days.
Joan is survived by her husband Stanley C. Liniarski and her many loving children: Joe (Cheryl) Liniarski, David (Cindy) Liniarski, Stanley (Charlene) Liniarski, Theresa (Randy) Kaufman, Charles Liniarski, Vanessa (Jay) Davis, T.J (Jen) McDowel, Anne Marie (Williams) Ochadleus, Eric (Julie) Liniarski, Yvonne (Mark) Hahn and Yvette (McLeod); 30 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren and her very Special Caretaker and Granddaughter, Desiree (John) Shell.
