Jerry L. Goulette's Obituary
Jerry L. Goulette, age 80, of Cottrellville Twp., passed away October 22, 2021. He was born April 1, 1941 in Mt. Clemens to the late Harvey and Donna Goulette. He married Mary Ann Straub on April 24, 1965.
He retired from the Anchor Bay School District after 32 years of service.
Jerry enjoyed gardening and selling the fruits of his labor. He loved teaching his grandchildren his gardening skills and showing them how to drive his John Deere tractor and spending time with them most of all.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years; Mary Ann Goulette, his sons; Daniel Goulette and David (Brenda) Goulette, his grandchildren; Ginny, Morgan and Alex. He is also survived by his sister; Donna Goulette, brother; Donald Goulette, sister in-law; Shirley (Jim) Lardner and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother; Richard Goulette.
Funeral mass will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28 at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Interment will be at St. Catherine Cemetery, Algonac. Visiting will be Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at church one hour prior to mass. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
