What a wonderful man Jerry was! His kindness to students and staff at Anchor Bay Elementary was constant. He kept our building in such good shape, taking great care that it was in good repair and spotless. I loved watching him in the cafeteria with children. Although he was quiet, he seemed to know so many names and just what to say if they needed redirecting. When there was a spill, he was there right away with his mop and bucket. When we had the Kindergarten-2nd grade, there were lots of spills. We had great talks about his "farm" and about prayer. He enjoyed his time with family and talked about them often in our conversations.
For the man I look up too and strive to become….I am truly grateful. For his words of wisdom and many life lessons that has shaped me to the man I am today….I am truly blessed. For the unending examples he has set showing his endearing love, patience and sense of humility…..I am forever thankful. For taking the time when we were young to stop what he was doing and play a game of “horse”…I am truly grateful. For always being there to lend a helping hand regardless of what he had to sacrifice…..I am truly blessed. For being the Papa who adored his grandkids and taught them the same values you gave me….I am forever grateful. For giving our family not everything we wanted, but everything we needed…..I am truly humbled. For being the father that everyone wished they had….WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU! Rest in peace Dad….until we meet again
I hit the jackpot when I married Dave. I got the best father inlaw and mother inlaw a girl could ask for. I knew them both for many years before I started dating their son. He will always be remembered for his work ethic and love for his family. My kids are blessed to have them right across the road. I keep expecting to see him outside or riding on his gator. We will all miss him very much. We love you Papa
I worked with Jerry for many years at Anchor Bay Elementary school. Such a pleasant person. Always ready to help out when needed. Had a very low keyed sense of humor.
One of the good guys. Loved his family. RIP Jer.

I will always remember Uncle Jerry working around the yard, especially his garden in the summer. But one of my favorite memories of Uncle Jerry is when Rick & I were dating and we were having Sunday dinner at Grandma Goulette's house. Danny, Dave, & Rick started talking about how they would wrestle Uncle Jerry when they were kids. The next thing I knew, Rick & Uncle Jerry were wrestling on the living room floor. I don't remember who won, but I remember laughing like crazy! A wonderful man who will be missed greatly. Love, Stacy
