Jeffery P. "Jeff" Nutter's Obituary
Jeffery P. "Jeff" Nutter, age 57, of Fort Gratiot, passed away March 17, 2022 after a short illness. He was born October 9, 1964 in Detroit to James and Claudia Nutter. Jeff proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp. He married Lisa Woolley on June 9, 2011.
Jeff was a electrician at Stellantis formerly Chrysler/Fiat for many years. He was a member of the Marine Corp League Detroit #146 Belcher-Lane- Williams and the Eagles in Port Huron.
He loved to golf, hunt and fish, travel the world and most of all being a Dad.
He is survived by his wife; Lisa Nutter, his children; Jordan Hofer, Hannah Nutter, and Abigail Nutter, and mother; Claudia (Dan) Wirtanen , sister; Marie (Darrin) Rushing. He is also survived by his mother in-law; Cheryl (Mike) Filer, mother in-law; Sherry Woolley, brother and sister in-laws; Kristin (Nick) Ort, Nate (Stephanie) Woolley, Chris (Kristine) Sharpe, along with many nieces, nephews and friends, including his best friend; John (Laura) Cook.
He was preceded in death by his father; Jim Nutter, brother; Donald Nutter and father in-law; Nate Woolley.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
