So many childhhood memories from hanging out at Grandma Nutters in the kitchen, to throwing toys down the laundry shute at Grandpa and Grandma Whalens. Getting into trouble for that and for trying to sneak down the stairs to go be where all the fun was at in the basement when we were supposed to be upstairs asleep. To taking walks to catch up on life's happenings when I brought home my baby girl for the first time for the family to meet when we were at Uncle Jim and Aunt Claudia's home. Then we only saw each other at the funerals of our grandparents due to distance, But how lucky was I to have gotten to show my cousin, (the world traveler) our own little piece of the world when he was out here for work. We took him and one of his work buddies to Virginia City where we got to see Outhouse racing!! We went to Lake Tahoe ( the best part of living here) That's when I got to meet his beautiful wife Lisa and beautiful Mother in law Sherry. After hearing so much about them and the girls it was nice to finally meet them in person. Then I didn't see Jeff again until my Momma, his Aunt Verna passed away in August 2019. He was a huge support to me then as he has always been since we were kids. You see we're the 2 oldest of all of us cousins and we were always connected no matter the distance or the time without communication. I miss him so. This is one of the hardest memories that I now have is Jeff not being with us all.
Lisa my heart breaks for you as I have no words to help with your grief at losing your soulmate, your best friend, the father of your children. to your girls who now face life ahead without their amazing Daddy please know you are in my heart. To my Aunt Claudia, nothing harder than having to bury your husband, now your son. Unmeasurable amounts of grief. My dear cousin Marie, you lost your Dad now your brother. 2 of the most important men in your life. I give all of you all my love and support for always! You know where I am and how to find me.
