Gerald C. "Jerry" Silvas, age 80, of St. Clair, died January 26, 2011. He was born April 18, 1930 in Detroit. Jerry was married to Louise Silvas for 34 years, she preceded him in death in 1987. He married Muriel Likins in 1991. Je Read Obituary
Mr. Silvas gave me my start in the hospitality business which was my career for over 25 years. I will never forget his guidance and influence when I worked for him in both the Voyageur and the bowling alley. Val, I am not sure you remember me but we attended high school together and worked together at the restaurant. I will always have the fondest memories of your father.
