Dear Karen and Tim,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your father, Fred. Even though we only knew him for about 10 years since he married Eleanor, we came to love him, too. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him and Mom on our trips north and loved to listen to him tell his stories. You only had to know Fred for a short time to know that he loved the Lord and he loved farming! But he also loved his family and the many things he did in his lifetime. He also loved to talk about the Bible and always had a question he wanted to discuss.

We will miss him but know you will miss him much more. We want to thank you from the depths of our hearts for sharing him with our Mom and with us. I think the 10 years Fred and Eleanor had together helped to ease the loneliness for both of them.

Karen and Tim, my heart goes out to your families. Fred was Best Man at our wedding and I loved him dearly. He boldly proclaimed his Christian beliefs to anyone who would listen. I had intentions of visiting Fred but life always seemed to put up diversions. However, we will meet again " in the morning". My prayers are with you during this time of loss.
