Franz Richard Ankrapp (82), a Life-long Columbus Twp. resident, died peacefully 04/01/17. Survived by daughters Deborah (Russel) Reichenbach and Sandra Ankrapp (Tom Skupny); grandchildren Kimberly (Tony) Domerese and Stephanie Pratt; great-grandchildren Maria, Reeselyn and Paige Domerese and Daniel, Adam and Benjamin Pratt; brother-in-law Joseph Maranzano, sister-in-law Nina Ankrapp, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Dorothy (2014), infant son Kenneth (1972), parents Max and Mabelle Ankrapp; brothers: Lyle, Reynold, Max, Jr. and Bobby; sisters: Elizabeth Richardson, Janet Maranzano and Janice Leitz. Visitation on Friday, April 7th from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 8th from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service beginning at 11 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel, 4061 St. Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054. Burial Kittridge Cemetery, Columbus Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Veterans’ Administration or the Michigan Humane Society appreciated.
