Evelyn was my friend from Trinity. I will miss her and remember her with great fondness and affection. I remember the moment our friendship began. It was a Wednesday service at church and I sat next to her, smiling I said to her.... You smell so good. It was a fragrance called Grace. So beautiful, just like her. She gifted me with her bottle in the weeks to follow and we exchanged little love gifts thru the years, passing packages before service began as we always sat next to each other. She'd call and check up on me! ...as we have a place up North and (sorry Pastor) we missed every other week or more... Recently, I visited her at her apartment for the first and only time. We shared coffee & cookies and she gave me a beautiful angel statue to always remember her. My heart weeps to now think she knew her time was drawing near. I love you Evy and know you loved me.
