Evelyn M. Deneau's Obituary
Evelyn M. Deneau, age 83, of St. Clair, joined her husband Richard E., son Howard and brother Howard Lambrix on October 20, 2015. She was born January 5, 1932 to Archie and Anna Lambrix. Evelyn married Richard E. Deneau in 1954 after his tour of duty in WWII and Korea.
She was well known for her supportive role, serving with a heart of compassion and listening ear as Chaplain and Director of Pastoral Care at Mercy Hospital for 13 years. Her encouragements continued as she served on a Board of Pastors at Life of Faith Fellowship for several more years. Her strong-bold character was often accompanied by many witty stories, smiles and contagious laughter.
She is survived by children; Anna, Marie, Edward, Daniel, Stephen and John. She has 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday October 22nd at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service will be held Friday October 23rd at New Covenant Life Ministries, Port Huron at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon.
