Along time ago when Keri was a baby I came to support Ellen and Dave because he had serious multiple blood clots. Dave was hospitalized and very ill. I thought I could take care of Keri so to give Ellen more time with Dave. She was so scared and upset. As a muse I was glad to be able to be supportive. I also saw how much she loved my brother. Love you Ellen. Keri turned out to be a wonderful person. All of us will miss you. But we know that you are in the arms of God's angels. Love to all of you. Barbara

Ellen and Dave bought their first home directly across the street from us (our first home, too) within a couple mos of us moving in. I immediately ran over to welcome them to the neighborhood, brownies in hand, excited to have young neighbors and friends move in. Ellen quickly became a loving friend to our entire family! She became pregnant with Keri and not long after, I became pregnant with my only daughter. The two were inseparable. The fabric of our lives are forever entwined with happiness, tough times, joy and tears...everything a good life defines. We are Family... not by blood—but by sharing all throughout this life. Thank you, Ellen... for 33+ years of that beautiful smile, positive, strong attitude and matter-of-fact way of sharing what’s true. You were a breath of fresh air in this sometimes stuffy world! I love you and my family loves you...and we will continue our legacy of friendship and love in your honor. 💜
Ellen was my sister in law. I am very appreciative of her interest in and support of my daughters, grandchildren and especially my oldest grandson. Family was a top priority for her and so a part of her loving, generous, fighter spirit lives on through all she touched. She will be missed. She will be remembered.
I knew and served with you for many years. Always had a smile for the troops. You will be missed.
