Mr. Edward J. LaCroix's Obituary
Edward J. LaCroix, age 64, of St. Clair, died July 2, 2012. He was born May 1, 1948 in St. Clair to Burt and Lucille LaCroix.
Ed was active with the St. Clair Ecumenical Food Pantry. He owned and operated LaCroix's Riverside Pub "The Slide" for over 16 years.
Being very community minded Ed's support was ever present with many community events in St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife; Lynne LaCroix, children; Sheila LaCroix, Shelly LaCroix, Amy LaCroix, Crystal (Nick) Coventry and Rachel LaCroix, granddaughter; Brooke Allington, mother; Lucille LaCroix, sisters; Joan (Stan) Liniarski, Yvonne Kommer, Janine LaCroix and Bridgitte LaCroix, brother; Andre LaCroix, aunt; Theresa Goulette and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Burt LaCroix.
Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be conducted. Ed's family will honor his memory and welcome close friends and family at a Memorial Luncheon Friday July 6th at the Voyageur Restaurant in St. Clair from 11;30 am to 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the St. Clair Ecumenical Food Pantry.
