Don and Edie were very special people indeed... we lived in Vantage Pointe and always held the two of them in a special regard. May he rest in peace. Vicki MacTavish
So sorry for the Dewey family, my condolences. Met Don and Edie in 2006 shortly after Gayle and I moved into V P and Dad and Mom were very involved with the day to day operation of Vantage Pointe and contributed many hours in development of VP. In February of 2007 a group of us were golfing, had a beer and a sandwich and went home. About 1:30pm our phone rang and my wife and I were informed that our son had been stiicken and was on life support. We got on the phone and made our arrangements to fly north and our doorbell rings and Don and Edie had heard the sad news and took us to Orlando for the trip.that was what Dad and Mom were, great caring people. Glad we got to have them in our lives. RIP Don, the pain is in the past and You and Edie are reunited.
Prayers for the family
Mr. Dewey was a total class gentleman! I remember him chaperoning our Sr. Trip to Daytona Beach. Ran into him at Anita’s several years ago. Always a funny, friendly and Great guy. So sorry to hear the sad news
To Romain's family. I have been in mourning ever since Elmer called me last night to let me know of Romain's passing. Sorry, but to me he will ALWAYS BE ROMAIN, as Donald was his dad. From late Elementary School, he and I were close friends and once we were in high school, often double dated. We have stayed in touch all these years and every 5 years at our Class Reunions, my husband and I would spend time with he and Eddie. Have so many wonderful memories of him as he is so much a part of my childhood. His birthday fell one day after mine and we sometimes celebrated together with our dates. His one true love was Eddie and how blessed he is to now be with her for eternity. I pray that God grants each member of his family the peace that passes all understanding.
