Words cannot express my sadness at Diane's passing. Compassion and kindness were a hallmark of her life, along with her quick wit and ready smile. She was always ready to lend a hand in St. Clair whether it be weeding flowers downtown, registering seniors for their flu shot, or ringing the bell for Christmas at Neiman's. I knew she was a teacher from the moment I met her as she possessed an ability to listen and care to all she met. I will miss her dearly. One thing is for sure: God better brush up on the 12 Days of Christmas because he's going to be singing it in heaven every year now Diane is with Him.
