Deborah A. Steinmetz's Obituary
Deborah A. Steinmetz, age 72, of Marine City, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born October 30, 1952, the daughter of the late Charles and Rosemary Steinmetz. Debbie was a graduate of Holy Cross High School class of 1970. She was an avid animal lover, who had a special spot in her heart for her 2 dogs, Tootsie and Goliath, and her cat, C.D.
She is survived by her children, Scott Steinmetz, Angela (Stefan) Mackey, P.J. (Angie) Bryant, Shawn (Kristy) Steinmetz; grandchildren, Courtney, Scott Jr., Andrew, Christopher (Mallorie), Sophie, Gavin, Victor, Piper, Charlie Rae, Jakob, David; great grandchildren, Presley, Addie, Ronan, Archer, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack Brendle; brother David Steinmetz.
The family extends a special thank you to Medilodge of St. Clair, their staff, and residents for their compassion and care while Debbie resided there.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, May 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be on Monday, May 5th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
