Deann Sue Umlauf's Obituary
Deann Sue Umlauf, age 62, of St. Clair, died May 8, 2011. She was born November 11, 1948 in Falls City, Nebraska to James G. and Lucretia Meinheit.
Deann worked for 30 years as an educator in Macomb, St. Clair and Lapeer Counties. She also taught at Saginaw Valley State University. She loved reading, gardening, knitting, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Inwood, grandchildren, Andrew and Caitlin Inwood and Timmy and Jeffery Lelito, parents James G. and Lucretia Meinheit, brother James (Connie) Meinheit, nieces Mya (Steve) Beauvais, Rayna Meinheit, Melissa (Doug) Wickersham and Amanda (Tony) Pelitti and the Taylor family.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
