I remember Mr. Clink as a nice, quiet man who must have had the patience of a saint to be in a house of full of mostly women! Thank goodness for Greggie. I went to nursing school with Patti and want to express my sincere condolences to her and the family. My mom is in critical condition from a massive stroke right now, so all I can do is send my love and prayers. Diane Cameron Merriman, RN, Port Sanilac, MI
When I was young, Dad wasn't one to tell you that he loved you, but he showed you in the things he did: piling all of us kids in the station wagon and off we went on family vacations so we could see other parts of this country, enduring the drama involved with having 4 teenage daughters in the house at one time, driving 2 hours to my house to fix my car in the snow so I could go home and spend Christmas with my family, opening his home when he and Mom could help his children and grandchildren get thru tough situations, teaching us by example many life lessons have become the foundation we built our lives on. One of the most important lessons was the importance of family and true friends. His legacy will live on through the influences he had on the many lives he touched.
Great memories were made at grandpas house, out playing in the pond and swimming or inside playing chess. Christmas and other holidays held at his house were always fun and good times to catch up with family. I will always remember getting pennies to use for his gumball machine. he will be truly missed by everyone in the family, including me.
Ten years ago Dave married my Mother Marion and joined our family too. He was so good to her and brightened her life again. We all Loved him and gladly welcomed him into our hearts. Over the 10 yrs. he has been a big part of our family. He has helped us celebrate Birthdays,Graduations,Weddings, Births, Holidays and often just comming over for dinner and a visit. I enjoyed staying with him so my Mom could get out once a month for her club meetings and feel like we created a special little bond. He was a kind, gentle man! He will be missed by all of us, especially my Mom. We Love you Dave!
I remember watching him fix things in the garage, learning to drive and hanging out watching racing in his living room. I'll miss his hugs & kisses. He loved hanging out with all his grandkids.

I will never forget all of us grandkids sitting on the arm of grandpas chair reading and drawing shapes, Numbers, apples, pumpkins and various other fruits and veggies, Numbers and whatever else he wanted to teach us on his news paper. Best grandpa ever! I love you so much!
