Crystal Anne Jahn's Obituary
Crystal Anne Jahn, age 43, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly November 14, 2024. She was born August 12, 1981 in Pontiac, Michigan.
From ages 3 – 19, Crystal was raised on a small island near Madagascar called Mauritius. She was very proud of her heritage and cherished her time growing up on the island.
After moving back to Michigan, at age 19, Crystal received her associates degree from Oakland Community College and later her bachelor’s degree from Walsh College. She has worked for Biewer Lumber, St. Clair for 7 years and was currently the Controller. Crystal was a voracious reader who always had a thirst for learning. She also was a member of the Blue Water Young Professionals and St. Clair Rotary. Giving of herself and volunteering for community events was also a part of her generous nature.
Above all Crystal was a loving mother and a shining example to her four children. Teaching them how hard work, dedication, and generosity can lead to a fulfilling life.
She is survived by her children, Kaleon Jahn (fiancée, Ally Kue), Senea Jahn and Zakir Jahn; granddaughter, Illea Jahn; boyfriend, Robert King; father, Steven (Faye) Messervey; mother, Afroze (Tanvir) Adamjee; father in law and mother in law, Cliff and Kathy Jahn; siblings, Adam Messervey (Mona Torchani), Safia Adamjee, Sarah Adamjee and Shabnam Adamjee; niece, Liyana Messervey; cousins, Hamza Goolam-Mohamed, Reza Goolam-Mohamed and Jameel Goolam-Mohamed.
She was predeceased by her spouse, Steven Jahn; son, Jake Jahn and brother, Steven G. Messervey.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 23rd at 4:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Family and friends will receive visitors from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
