So sorry to hear of the loss of Chris. I spent some time at a gas and oil show with him, he had many friends in that hobby and will be missed.
My sincere condolences to the family.##imported-begin##Brian Reitz##imported-end##
Rest in Peace friend. The time is never right to lose someone. And this is just tragic and way too soon##imported-begin##Larry Bieghler##imported-end##
Danielle, You know I loved Chris and enjoyed every time I spent with him. The memories I have of you and him and your kids in scouting will never be forgotten. A special section of the RJP Memorial Museum will be dedicated in honor of him and all that he did for scouting. If I can offer assistance in anything please let me know. He was and is a great man. I am sure he is talking to God right now about starting a race track of some sort in heaven.##imported-begin##Joe Phillips##imported-end##

My deepest sympathy and prayers for the Holt family and all Chris' many friends. I never got to meet Chris face-to-face, but I felt I knew him well through email and his many messages posted on Oldgas.com over the last 8+ years. I loved to hear about his family, home, work and collecting experiences. Gone way too early.##imported-begin##Jim Potts##imported-end##

I feel like I've lost a great close friend too. I never met Chris in person but knew him through the 2 gas/oil sites. No doubt about his character. He was a class 1 person and helped a lot of people in a sincere friendly way.
We will sure miss him.
Our deepest sympathy to all his family and friends in this time.##imported-begin##Rod van Pelt##imported-end##
I never "met" Chris in person, but through the oldgas website where he shared many things about himself & you, his family. You could tell that he was VERY proud of you. Try to keep your chins up & think of all the good times that you had together. He'll live on through all of you. God bless Chris & you. Tom##imported-begin##Tom Stover##imported-end##
I too want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss.
I never got the pleasure of meeting Chris in person, but we conversed by email a few times. Like numerous others on Oldgas I enjoyed his outlook on life, family and the hobby of collecting gas and oil items. He will be missed by all who were privileged enough to converse with him.##imported-begin##Bob Richards##imported-end##
