Charles "Chuck" R. Miller, Sr.'s Obituary
Charles "Chuck" R. Miller, Sr., age 77, of of Marine City, passed away December 1, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with Parkinson's disease and Dementia. He was born to the late Clesson and Emma Miller on December 8, 1935 in Marine City. He worked as a engineer/draftsman for the Big Three for many years and owned the Corner Grocery in Marine City.
He is survived by his children; Connie (Dennis) Newton and Chuck R. Miller, Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason) McTevia and Monica (Jamie) McConnell, great-grandchildren; Matthew and Mackenzie McTevia and Liam McConnell, sister; Janice Aud and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife; Nancy Lou Miller, sister; MariAnne Bugbee, and brother; Fred Miller.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Rev. Roland Troike officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
