Callie Creech's Obituary
Callie Creech, age 87, of St. Clair, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2025. She was born in Cutshin, Kentucky on January 29, 1938 to the late Lillie and Mary Williams. Callie graduated from Leslie County High School in 1959. She married Frank Creech on February 18, 1965. Frank preceded her in death on July 16, 2000. Callie was a proud mother, who lived for her family. She enjoyed baking, especially her famous pumpkin rolls, where her and her family would spend countless hours making rolls. She appreciated music, and often listened to gospel or country. Callie was talented at crocheting. She made aphgans and baby blankets, not only for her grandchildren, but anytime she heard of a baby due, she made sure to make that person a baby blanket. When she was outdoors, Callie spent a lot of her time tending to her garden. Above all, Callie cherished the time she spent with her family. She loved hosting parties; Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthday parties, anything to be with her family.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Sunday) Creech, David (Jennifer) Creech; grandchildren. Lauren, Stephanie, Jared, Jennamarie, Callie, Wyatt, Charlotte.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Creech, as well as 12 siblings.
A funeral service will be on Saturday, February 15th at 11:30 a.m. to Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
