Bernie Kaufman's Obituary
Bernie Kaufman, age 81, of Casco Twp., passed away October 8, 2020. He was born February 6, 1939 to the late Harvey and Elda Kaufman.
Bernie worked many years in the commercial construction trades. He was always there to share his knowledge and talents with his family and friends with their construction projects. He will be remembered, in part, by his love of spending time outdoors.
Bernie is survived by his children, Lislee (Kenny) Burns, Jamie (Tim) McConnell and Benjamin (Brooke) Kaufman; grandchildren, Madison and Morgan, Madison and Chloe; sister, Bernadine Chapman; brother in law, Vic Schweiger; longtime friend, Tom Huckleberry and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Janet Kaufman and sister, Barbara Schweiger.
Visitation hours are Tuesday, October 13th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a service to be conducted Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Casco Twp., Michigan
